OUGD603: Fossil Brief - Trend/Colour Resarch

To best market the fossil collection as a popular 'trendy' brand I investigated what is hot in menswear right now, particularly for SS/18 and AW/19. The focus will be primarily around casual fashion, as a way to incorporate the outdoorsy nature of palaeontology into the practice.

Some may not be appropriate for the fossil project, although it is good to know the wider contextual trends occurring in menswear at the moment to widen our possibilities of communicating an interesting narrative.

Colour Research

Looking into the trends and compelling a few swatches of colour ways in which we could print on the t-shirt. As we are planning to keep them 1 colour screen prints, I wanted to see how each colour would look against white and black, representing the colour of the tshirt.
