Sexual and Domestic Assault

Russia has passed a law to partially decriminalise domestic violence.

“If you’re experiencing domestic violence in Russia, you have no place to go. You have to stay with your abusing husband/dad/whoever. Until he kills you or you kill him” – Nadya Tolokonnikova

Putin is building a new conservative order all around the world, he’s doing his best to create a retrograde, misogynistic, morally and economically corrupted empire. We’ve passed those ivory tower times when those who live in America had this luxury of not paying attention on what’s going on in Russia. We’ve passed the times when I could care just about Russia and don’t think about the US politics. Let’s care about each other, and let’s oppose these misogynistic cannibals who have grabbed the power all over the globe. Cut their greasy tentacles, don't let their neo-fascist plague spread.

Protests erupt in Paris following police rape on young man

A police officer has been charged with raping a young man with a baton, and hundreds continue to demonstrate against the authority's violence.

“I saw him with his baton. He rammed it into my buttocks on purpose. I fell onto my stomach, I had no strength left,” he told French TV channel BFM on Monday (February 6). He described how he was sprayed with teargas and beaten as the officers called him “bitch”.

Théo asked people to stay calm and “united”, stating that he trusted the justice system to help him. Disturbances have since ceased in Aulnay-sous-Bois since Théo spoke on television, though demonstrations continue elsewhere.

In 2015, the first collective case against state racial profiling in France upheld its guilty ruling against the police for ID checks on men of ethnic minorities, according to the Guardian. The ID checks have caused unsubstantiated tension in the suburbs.

13th Feb 2017, Parisian Riots following police rape

Tension in Paris rises a few days after the rape of a young black man, starting riots exacerbated with teargass and protests. French police were caught on video shouting "i'll fuck all of you in the ass", a deliberate show of no-remorse of their actions as a whole- nor the damage caused.

Around 2,000 protesters reportedly took to the streets to voice their anger, holding signs emblazoned with the words: “Police kill innocents”. The organisation in charge of investigating the police issued a statement claiming the attack had been an “accident”.

The cause of these tensions is rooted in cases of unjustified identity checks, with many calling the constant ID searches – of which Theo had been subjected to – racial profiling.

Woman gang-raped by in refugee camp, asked to say silent after her ordeal

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/610376/woman-gang-raped-refugee-camp-activists-Italy-border-France-Ventimiglia
It is claimed she was trapped in a shower block near the camp but loud music meant her cries for help went unheard during the horror attack. The woman was told not to report the alleged crime by colleagues working for far-left group No Borders, according to reports. They are said to have told her speaking out would have damaged their cause – to support freedom of movement and oppose migration controll

Pamela Anderson has said she will start campaigning for men who have been falsely accused of rape

Quite a refreshing change of pace, former Baywatch star is really pioneering equality and justice, in the most fair way possible. Rape and mistreatment of women is a huge, nasty issue, yet it is not just women who are the victims. Many men get falsely tarnished with rape, and considered a predator when sometimes it is not the case, and all spun up lies.

These lies have the ability to ruin lives, so I find it so honourable that Pam is sticking up for her friend Mr Assange in this time of need.

“We all of course gravitate towards vulnerable people and we consider that to be women and children, first and foremost, which is important, but there’s also a lot of men who are in a vulnerable situation. Defending her friend Mr Assange, she said: “When you read the actual case, and you read everything about it, there’s no crime that’s been committed.”

Sweden, where victims are strongly encouraged to come forward with rape allegations, has the highest incidence of reported rapes in Europe. The country broadened its definition of rape in 2005, which is thought to have led to an increase in the number of recorded incidents in the years immediately following the change.

A recent ITV Documentary (8pm 23rd Feb 17), had Trevor McDonnald investigating the effects of cat calling, and incorporated a section where a focus group was given footage, and asked to determine its level of harassment. Out of 8/10 of the group voted in favour of cat calling being classed as sexual harassment, and feel that this should be informed by law. Could this modernisation in mindsets lead to an expansion of law, regarding rape and sexual harassment in both genders- anyone can fall victim to uncomfortable predatory behaviour.

Exploitation of young women

The study says girls as young as 10 are forced to marry much older men in countries including Afghanistan, Yemen, India and Somalia. "Girls who marry too early often can't attend school, and are more likely to face domestic violence, abuse and rape. They fall pregnant and are exposed to STIs (sexually transmitted infections) including HIV."

Female representation and body positivity within the Fashion Industry

http://www.papermag.com/karlie-kloss-does-her-best-asian-impersonation-in-racist-geisha-inspir-2263288432.html

- Imitating and appropriating cultures

- Body requirements and unrealistic beauty expectations, placed onto young women

- Exploiting girls as young as 12. The majority of runway models are aprox 15-22 years of age.

We live in a hateful, degenerative society. Where are old fashioned values??

1967 Mass Murder in China, following Hollocaust practices

In the early days of the Cultural Revolution, not everything that went on in the battle to cleanse China of capitalist influences was widely known about. Property was seized, torture carried out, people imprisoned on the flimsiest of pretexts. Young people, like Hecheng’s cousin and his friends, had been sent what became known as “down to the country”, transplanted from their urban homes to rural areas for “re-education” and to instil a strong work ethic. These were the “fantastical oddities” of the Cultural Revolution.

The bodies that had been cast into the Xiao had been murdered with farming tools, spades, hoes, sticks. Others had been thrown into limestone pits… sometimes without even being killed, suffocating in a rapidly filling mass grave. And when their killers were feeling particularly creative and had time on their hands, they would practise “the Celestial Maiden Scattering Flowers”… several people would be tied together and blown up with dynamite, flesh, bone and body parts scattering the surrounding area. Those killed were described by Maoist propaganda as “black elements” – capitalist, bourgeois, traditional. FUCKED.

Possibility of Aliens (finally the holiday break we need)

At least three of the seven new planets NASA discovered are the right temperature to sustain life. They’re rocky and could have oceans. They’re about the same size as Earth. One’s bright orange, one’s pea green, and three are, err, Earth color. They’re close to each other. They’re about as dark as Earth at sunset, but warmed with infrared energy.

Child marriage starts a cycle of disadvantage that denies girls the most basic rights to learn, develop and be children," said Save the Children International CEO Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
